I’ve always been
someone who notices.
“Sometimes it’s a fleeting expression on a child’s face. Sometimes it’s the way light falls across a landscape. Other times, it’s the subtle shift in a conversation that tells me there’s more than one truth in the room.”
This way of noticing has shaped my entire life—my career choices, my relationships, and my creative pursuits. It’s what keeps me open, curious, and deeply engaged with the world.

Holding onto what matters
Photography became one of my first creative loves because it allowed me to hold on to moments that mattered. Through childhood, adulthood, parenting, and now the joy of grandchildren, my camera has been a quiet companion—helping me capture memories before they slipped gently into the past.
Travel widened that lens even more. Visiting all 50 states and five continents taught me that there are countless ways to live a meaningful life. Different cultures, different rhythms, different values—each offering its own kind of wisdom. Seeing the world this way deepened something I’ve always felt to be true: most things are not black and white.
This lifelong passion for global exploration is also why I serve as a professional travel advisor through my business, Help Me Plan My Travel. I help others plan enriching, stress-free journeys that spark curiosity and connection across the globe.

FINDING MY WAY to glass
Fused glass became my medium because it refuses to be rushed. You can design with intention—choosing colors, bevels, and textures—but the kiln always has the final word.
Heat transforms rigid shards into something soft, fluid, and unexpected. That interplay between intention and surrender is why I fell in love with it, and it mirrors everything I have learned about living well.
Guiding Perspectives
Looking From Multiple Angles
Whether arranging layers of glass or framing a shot through a camera lens, perspective changes everything. The world opens up when you step aside and look again.
Designing for Win-Win
In business, art, and life, the best outcomes are never zero-sum. Sustainable success comes from collaboration, shared value, and generosity.
What Grounds Me
I value integrity over ease, clarity over comfort, and connection over being right. Today, creativity remains my anchor. Whether through photography, fused glass, travel, or simply paying attention, I believe art—and life—are about noticing what’s already beautiful and choosing to engage with it fully.
